Swissvoice Xtra 4G 1650: Make calls easily without a landline

The Swissvoice Xtra 4G 1650 combines the familiar operation of a corded desk phone with the flexibility of the mobile network. Thanks to a 4G connection via a SIM card, you can make calls without having to install a traditional landline, an internet router or a separate telephone line.

With large buttons, a colour display, amplified sound and a programmable SOS function, the device is particularly suitable for older people, care homes and workplaces where an easy-to-use telephone solution is required.

Making calls via 4G without a landline

To use the phone, all you need is a power supply and a suitable SIM card. The phone supports 2G, 3G and 4G mobile networks. The SIM card is not included.

As the connection is established via the mobile network, there is no need to install a traditional telephone line. This makes it easier to set up in care homes, second homes, temporary business premises and locations without an existing landline connection.

Large buttons and amplified sound for comfortable conversations

The Xtra 4G 1650 has been designed for easy-to-use and familiar operation. Large number keys, a colour display and a visual call indicator help you recognise incoming calls and dial numbers.

The Audio Boost function, with up to +40 dB, amplifies the call volume. In addition, the phone offers an adjustable ringtone volume of up to 90 dB, various sound profiles and compatibility with hearing aids.

A voice prompt announcing the dialled number assists with entry. The built-in hands-free speaker allows for conversations without having to hold the handset continuously.

SOS button and photo direct dial for quick contact

Using the programmable SOS button, stored emergency contacts can be notified via text message and phone call. If there is no response, a call sequence involving up to four further emergency contacts can be triggered.

For frequently used numbers, there is a choice of three photo speed-dial buttons with an SOS function or four speed-dial memory slots. The phone book can hold up to 500 contacts. A function for blocking unwanted calls complements the communication options.

For incoming calls from saved contacts, the telephone also supports automatic call acceptance in hands-free mode. This function is intended for selected contacts in the direct-dial or SOS memory.

Emergency power supply for added operational reliability

An integrated backup battery with up to 14 days’ autonomy ensures continued use in the event of a power cut. This makes the telephone suitable for applications where availability is particularly important.

Bluetooth 5.0, headset and built-in Wi-Fi hotspot

For hands-free calls, the Xtra 4G 1650 features a built-in hands-free speaker. In addition, compatible wired or Bluetooth headsets can be used via Bluetooth 5.0.

The built-in Wi-Fi hotspot can share the mobile data connection of the SIM card used with other devices. This requires a suitable tariff plan with voice and data allowances.

This means that, as well as voice calls, the desk phone can also serve as a mobile internet connection for other devices.

The Swissvoice Xtra 4G 1650 is particularly suitable for older people, care homes, supported living facilities and family members who prefer a familiar telephone interface without a traditional landline connection.

The device can also be used as a standalone telephone workstation in small businesses, reception areas, second homes, temporary retail spaces and home offices.

It operates with a suitable SIM card via 2G, 3G and 4G mobile networks. The availability of mobile services depends on the respective network operator, tariff and location. A data plan is required for the Wi-Fi hotspot function. The optional SOS wristband is available separately or as part of a corresponding product bundle.
