The HAMMER Ventus 5G is a rugged 5G smartphone designed for those who need durability at work without the weight and bulk typically associated with rugged phones. At just 8.2 mm thick and weighing 172 g, it combines a slim profile with IP69 protection and MIL-STD-810H certification.

The configuration, featuring 8 GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 256 GB of UFS 3.1 storage, the MediaTek Dimensity 7100 processor and Android 16, offers a platform suitable for multitasking, professional applications and everyday use. IP69-rated rugged build weighing just 172 grams

The Ventus 5G is designed to offer durability without compromising on portability. IP69 certification guarantees protection against dust and water, whilst the MIL-STD-810H standard certifies that it is designed for demanding conditions of use. The specifications also state that it can withstand drops from up to 1.5 metres.

The rear features a 3D honeycomb structure designed to improve grip even when wet or sweaty. The frame is made from an aluminium alloy, and the pack includes a transparent BumpAIR case to provide additional protection against impacts during everyday use.

The 6.77-inch AMOLED display offers an FHD+ resolution of 2392 × 1080 pixels and a pixel density of 387 ppi. The 120 Hz refresh rate ensures smooth motion and scrolling, whilst the claimed peak brightness reaches 4500 nits.

The surface is protected by SCHOTT Xensation glass, designed to increase the screen’s durability. The HAMMER material also indicates a screen-to-body ratio of 95 per cent.

MediaTek Dimensity 7100, 8 GB RAM and 256 GB UFS 3.1

The octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 7100 processor handles everyday and professional tasks alongside the ARM Mali-G610 MC2 GPU. The 8 GB of LPDDR5 RAM can be supplemented by a further 8 GB of virtual memory, reaching a maximum advertised capacity of 16 GB of operational memory.

The 256 GB of UFS 3.1 internal storage provides space for documents, apps, photos and videos. There is no MicroSD slot for expansion via memory card.

108 MP camera and night vision

The camera system combines a 108 MP main camera with electronic image stabilisation (EIS) and a dedicated 8 MP night vision camera. The latter allows you to capture images when there is insufficient light for a conventional camera.

Android 16 and features for field use

The Android 16 operating system rounds off a configuration designed for extended use. The sales documentation specifies Android and security updates, as well as software support for up to 5 years from the date of purchase.

The phone also features an infrared transmitter, which can be used with a third-party app to control compatible devices. The built-in stereo speakers round off the multimedia features.

A local communication feature allows users, via a compatible app, to exchange voice messages between devices at a stated distance of approximately 200 metres, even without mobile coverage, a feature useful for operational teams and outdoor activities.
