Organise visitor management with four call buttons

The Grandstream GDS3726Q is a professional IP video door entry system designed to manage visitors and control access to buildings. Its four customisable shortcut keys allow you to make direct calls to different contacts, departments or service points.

This setup makes it easy for each visitor to contact the appropriate recipient without having to rely on a single reception point. The buttons feature two-colour backlighting and can be labelled using the included labels.

Identify visitors with Full HD video

The camera incorporates a 4 MP sensor with HDR support and offers video streaming at up to 1920 × 1080 pixels at 30 frames per second. This allows authorised staff to visually verify who is requesting access.

Its 127° horizontal field of view allows it to cover a wide area in front of the entrance. WDR technology up to 120 dB helps to maintain detail in scenes with significant differences in lighting.

Automatic white balance and AI-powered motion detection complement the access monitoring functions.

Two-way communication to handle every call

The device features two microphones and a 3 W speaker to enable conversations with visitors via compatible devices and systems.

Compatibility with SIP facilitates communication with IP phones and enterprise intercom solutions. It also supports audio codecs such as G.722 for wideband communications.

Access via cards, mobile phones and digital credentials

The GDS3726Q offers various authentication methods to suit the needs of each installation. It supports 13.56 MHz and 125 kHz RFID cards, as well as NFC and Bluetooth BLE 5.0 technologies.

It also allows access to be managed via QR codes, SIP calls and the Grandstream SecureAccess app, depending on the system configuration.

Its capacity for 5,000 users and 5,000 cards simplifies credential management in premises with multiple employees or authorised visitors.

It integrates locks, readers and security sensors

The video door entry system features two relay outputs and three alarm inputs for connecting to locks, warning devices and external sensors.

The solid-state relay (SSR) incorporates protection against magnetic interference, a useful feature for installations requiring greater resistance to tampering attempts.

The Wiegand and RS-485 interfaces allow the system to be expanded with compatible readers and peripherals. The RS-485 connection supports the OSDP protocol.

Suitability for outdoor installations

The IP66 certification protects the device against dust and water jets. Furthermore, the IK10 rating applies to the metal surfaces, buttons and lens area.

The device is designed to operate at temperatures ranging from -30 °C to 60 °C, allowing it to be used at outdoor access points exposed to harsh environmental conditions.

It also features a tamper switch to detect any attempts at physical tampering.

Simple network installation with PoE

The 10/100 Mbps Ethernet connection with IEEE 802.3af PoE allows data to be transmitted and power to be supplied via a single network cable, simplifying cabling.

Alternatively, it supports power supply via 9 to 36 V DC. It can be wall-mounted or flush-mounted using the appropriate accessories.

The GDS3726Q does not feature Wi-Fi; its network connection is via Ethernet.

Use cases and compatibility

The Grandstream GDS3726Q is particularly well-suited to offices with multiple departments, commercial buildings, residential estates and separate entrances where having four distinct call destinations is useful.

It can be integrated with SIP-compatible IP PBXs, video surveillance systems supporting ONVIF Profile S, external readers via Wiegand or RS-485, and access control solutions with electric locks.

For network operation, it requires an Ethernet connection and a compatible power supply, either PoE or DC. The configuration of credentials, alarms and remote unlocking depends on the devices and services used in the installation.
