Handle more calls from a single telephone

The Fanvil X6U V2 is a desktop IP telephone designed for professionals who need to manage multiple calls throughout their working day. With 20 SIP lines, it makes work easier at reception desks, in offices and in departments with a high call volume.

It incorporates features such as call transfer, call forwarding, call hold, call waiting and speed dialling, which allow you to organise your calls with ease.

Three colour screens for more visual management

The 4.3-inch main screen offers a colour interface for viewing calls, contacts and phone functions. It is complemented by two 2.4-inch side screens dedicated to DSS keys.

The device features 12 physical DSS keys and supports up to 60 assignments spread across 5 pages. You can configure shortcuts, speed dialling and extension monitoring to streamline routine tasks.

HD audio for clear conversations

The Fanvil X6U V2 offers HD voice on both the handset and the hands-free speakerphone. It supports the G.722 and Opus wideband codecs, which ensure natural voice reproduction on compatible networks.

It also features acoustic echo cancellation, noise reduction and automatic gain control, functions designed to ensure clear communication.

The handset is compatible with hearing aids via HAC technology.

Built-in Bluetooth 4.2 and headphone connection

Thanks to the built-in Bluetooth 4.2, you can connect compatible Bluetooth headphones and enjoy greater freedom of movement during calls.

The phone also supports wireless headsets with EHS control via compatible accessories. The manufacturer’s recommended options include certain Poly and Jabra headsets, using the appropriate EHS cables.

Audio conferencing for up to 6 participants

The 6-way audio conferencing function allows you to bring together several participants directly from the phone itself, without the need for separate conferencing equipment.

This capability is useful for inter-departmental consultations, team coordination and brief telephone meetings.

Dual Gigabit Ethernet with PoE

The Fanvil X6U V2 features two 10/100/1000 Mbps Gigabit Ethernet RJ45 ports. One allows the telephone to be connected to the network, whilst the second facilitates connection to a computer via the pass-through port.

Support for IEEE 802.3af PoE allows the telephone to be powered via the Ethernet cable when used with a compatible network infrastructure.

It also supports external power supply of 5 V and 2 A via an optional adapter.

USB connectivity and optional Wi-Fi extension

The USB 2.0 Type A port allows you to connect a USB memory stick for compatible functions, such as call recording.

To use a Wi-Fi connection, the telephone supports the Fanvil WF20 adapter, available separately. Wi-Fi is not built-in as standard.

Business features and centralised management

The device features a local address book for up to 2,000 contacts, access to remote XML and LDAP directories, and a call history of up to 1,000 calls.

To facilitate installation and maintenance, it supports automatic provisioning via protocols such as HTTP, HTTPS, TFTP and TR-069, as well as management via a web interface.

It includes security and networking features such as TLS 1.3, SRTP, VLAN, 802.1x and IPv6, which are useful for integration into enterprise IP telephony infrastructures.

Use cases and compatibility

The Fanvil X6U V2 is suitable for reception areas, offices, sales departments, customer service and administrative workstations that require multiple lines and quick access to extensions.

It is compatible with PBX systems and IP telephony platforms that support the SIP protocol, subject to the configuration requirements of each system. It can be used with IPv4 and IPv6 networks and with IEEE 802.3af PoE infrastructure.

It supports compatible Bluetooth headsets and certain cordless models with EHS connectivity. Wi-Fi connectivity requires an optional Fanvil WF20 USB adapter.
