Product description

BenQ InstaShow WDC25: 4K wireless presentations for collaborative meetings

The BenQ InstaShow WDC25 is a wireless presentation system designed to simplify content sharing in corporate meeting rooms. Thanks to 4K UHD transmission, Plug & Play buttons and the simultaneous display of four sources, it allows multiple participants to present and compare information without constantly swapping cables.

It is particularly suitable for medium and large meeting rooms, with a typical capacity of 8 to 30 people.

4K presentations without installing software

With the InstaShow WDC25, you can start a presentation by pressing the button connected to the computer. The system works without any applications, drivers or prior network configuration, making it easy to use even for guests and external collaborators.

The receiver supports video output up to 3840 x 2160 at 60 Hz, whilst the buttons accept input signals up to 4K UHD at 30 frames per second.

Interchangeable USB-C and HDMI connections

Interface Switchable Plus technology allows you to switch between USB-C and HDMI connections without the need for tools. This flexibility makes the system suitable for computers with different interfaces, reducing the need for separate adaptors.

The system supports Windows, macOS, Linux and ChromeOS, offering a presentation solution that can be used in heterogeneous computing environments.

Four on-screen sources and touchback control

InstaShow WDC25 allows you to view up to 4 sources simultaneously on the same display, making it easier to compare documents, charts and presentations. The system supports up to 64 simultaneous connections, with two sharing buttons included as standard.

The touchback function allows you to interact with the connected computer via a compatible touch screen. Support for native extended desktop is also available, which is useful for managing different content between the computer screen and the room display.

Wireless sharing also from mobile devices

In addition to physical buttons, the system supports the Apple AirPlay, Google Cast and Miracast protocols, allowing content to be shared from compatible devices.

The wireless connection has a stated range of up to 40 metres. The receiver uses Wi-Fi 6, whilst the buttons use Wi-Fi 5, operating on the 2.4 and 5 GHz bands.

Data security and professional management

WPA3 encryption protects the wireless transmission of content. The system also holds CVSS 4.0 and ISO 27001 security certifications, as detailed in the BenQ documentation.

The receiver incorporates firewall functions, router-based Wi-Fi connectivity and device management, which are useful for administering the system in professional environments.

Professional applications and compatibility

The BenQ InstaShow WDC25 is suitable for corporate meeting rooms, training spaces, business presentations and collaborative sessions with multiple participants. The combination of physical buttons and native sharing protocols allows the use of compatible computers and mobile devices.

The system is designed for wireless content sharing. It should not be confused with a complete BYOM solution for wireless access to video conferencing peripherals, a feature that BenQ attributes to the VS25 model.
