ASUS ZenScreen OLED MQ16FC for mobile productivity with OLED picture quality

The ASUS ZenScreen OLED MQ16FC enhances the mobile workspace with a 16-inch OLED display in a 16:10 aspect ratio. With its WUXGA resolution of 1920 × 1200 pixels, it offers additional screen space for productive work whilst on the move or working from home.

The display achieves a screen-to-body ratio of 89 per cent and combines a generous viewing area with a lightweight, portable design.

OLED display with precise colour reproduction

OLED technology ensures deep blacks and vibrant colours. The colour gamut covers 95% of DCI-P3 and, with a Delta E < 2, it offers precise colour reproduction that is also suitable for professional visual tasks.

With a contrast ratio of 100,000:1, even dark areas of the image are displayed in rich detail. This means that both creative users and mobile professionals benefit from a high-contrast display.

1 ms response time for smooth display

OLED technology enables a response time of just 1 ms. This ensures that moving content is displayed smoothly, whilst reducing distracting blurring even when scrolling through text.

16:10 aspect ratio with WUXGA resolution

The 16:10 aspect ratio offers additional vertical display space compared to traditional widescreen formats. The maximum resolution of 1920 × 1200 pixels supports a well-organised mobile workspace for documents, applications and other work content.

USB-C and Mini-HDMI for flexible connections

The ZenScreen OLED MQ16FC features two full-function USB-C ports and a Mini-HDMI port. With a compatible laptop, a single USB-C cable is all that’s needed to mirror the screen or extend the desktop.

USB-C can simultaneously transmit the video signal and power. For this to work, the USB-C port on the connected laptop must support DP Alt Mode. For devices without USB-C but with DisplayPort support, Mini-HDMI can be used for video transmission and USB-C for power supply.

Bidirectional power supply with Power Pass-Through

The Power Pass-Through function enables bidirectional power supply. The monitor can be powered via a laptop or can supply power to a compatible laptop when the screen is connected to a USB-C power bank or mains adaptor.

According to ASUS, to achieve the maximum Power Delivery output of 65 W, the connected adapter must be capable of delivering up to 90 W.

Automatic orientation for portrait and landscape modes

With ASUS DisplayWidget Centre, the monitor detects its orientation and can automatically switch between landscape and portrait modes. The relevant software is required for this function.

ASUS states that automatic rotation is supported on both Windows and macOS. This allows the screen orientation to be flexibly adapted to different workflows.

ASUS Eye Care for longer screen time

ASUS Ultra-Low-Blue-Light technology reduces blue light emissions. The ASUS Blue Light Filter offers four filter levels that can be adjusted directly via the OSD menu.

In addition, ASUS Flicker-Free technology reduces annoying screen flicker. These Eye Care technologies are certified by TÜV Rheinland.

Applications and compatibility

The ASUS ZenScreen OLED MQ16FC is particularly well-suited as a portable secondary monitor for remote working, home office use and professional tasks whilst on the move. The combination of a 16:10 OLED display, precise colour reproduction and flexible connectivity supports both traditional office applications and more colour-critical visual workflows.

For combined video and power transmission via a single USB-C cable, the connected laptop must support USB-C with DP Alt Mode. Alternatively, Mini-HDMI is available for video transmission.
