With 8 channels and 219 selectable privacy codes, and coverage that extends to up to 16,250 m2, 13 floors, or a 9km line of sight*, this is an excellent choice of a walkie-talkie for construction sites and industry settings. The channel announcement feature tells you what channel you are on when you change it, so there is no need to remove it from your belt to check, leaving your hands completely free to work. You can designate 16 pre-recorded channel names for your departments, such as customer service, security, maintenance, etc.

Comes with a carry holster with a swivel belt clip

The XT400 Series radios come with a carry holster with a swivel belt clip, which lets you rotate the radio to fit comfortably and move freely while picking up a tool or restocking a shelf. The antimicrobial coating helps prevent the growth of mold and germs on the surface of the radio.

The maximum range given by manufacturers is based on ideal conditions, such as from hilltop to hilltop, but the range you get will be much less if you are in a built-up area.
