The ASUS ZenScreen MB16AHVE expands your mobile workspace with an additional 16-inch display with Full HD resolution. Its slim, lightweight design is particularly well-suited to users who need more screen space even when working away from a fixed workstation.

Full HD IPS display for a flexible workspace

The IPS panel offers a resolution of 1920 × 1080 pixels and wide viewing angles. This makes the portable monitor ideal as a second screen for documents, applications and other work content.

The anti-glare display surface ensures comfortable working in a variety of environments. The screen can be used in both landscape and portrait orientation.

USB-C and Mini-HDMI for versatile connectivity

With two multifunctional USB-C ports and a Mini-HDMI port, the ZenScreen MB16AHVE offers flexible connectivity options. When used with a compatible laptop, a single USB-C cable can transmit both the video signal and power simultaneously.

For video transmission via USB-C, the USB-C port on the connected device must support DisplayPort Alt Mode. If this is not the case, Mini-HDMI can be used for the video signal, whilst power is supplied via USB-C.

Bidirectional power supply with Power Pass Through

The integrated Power Pass Through function enables flexible power supply. The monitor can be powered via a laptop or, when connected to a USB-C power source, can in turn pass power on to a compatible laptop.

According to ASUS, a connected power supply unit of up to 80 W is required for the maximum output power of 65 W. The supplied 30 W power supply unit supports the Power Delivery function.

Automatic rotation for portrait and landscape orientation

With ASUS DisplayWidget Centre, the monitor can detect its orientation and automatically switch the display between landscape and portrait modes. ASUS states that automatic rotation is available for Windows and macOS and requires the appropriate software.

This allows the screen orientation to be adapted to different tasks, such as longer documents, programming interfaces or classic desktop applications.

ASUS Eye Care for comfortable working

For longer periods spent in front of the screen, ASUS has integrated technologies to improve visual comfort. The Flicker-Free technology reduces screen flickering, whilst ASUS Ultra-Low Blue Light reduces blue light emissions.

The ASUS Blue Light Filter offers four filter levels which can be adjusted via the OSD menu. The Eye Care technologies are certified by TÜV Rheinland.

Applications and compatibility

The ASUS ZenScreen MB16AHVE is suitable as a portable secondary monitor for laptops, for home offices, hybrid working models and on-the-go workstations. Devices with USB-C and DisplayPort Alt Mode can transmit video and power via a single USB-C connection.

The monitor is also compatible with most MacBooks whose USB-C port supports DisplayPort Alt Mode. According to ASUS, it can also be connected to compatible Xbox, PlayStation and Nintendo Switch systems via HDMI.
