Product description

Grandstream HT812 V2: VoIP telephony with integrated Gigabit NAT router

The Grandstream HT812 V2 is an analogue telephone adapter (ATA) designed to connect two traditional telephones to a VoIP network. It combines 2 FXS ports, Gigabit connectivity and an integrated NAT router, offering a versatile solution for offices, businesses and professional telephone installations.

Two telephone lines and Gigabit connectivity

Thanks to the 2 FXS ports and support for 2 SIP profiles, the HT812 V2 allows you to integrate two analogue devices into an IP telephony infrastructure. The 2 x 10/100/1000 Mbps RJ45 Ethernet ports and the integrated NAT router also allow you to manage network connectivity, without requiring a separate router for this function.

Its compact design makes it easy to install on desks and workstations where space is limited.

HD audio and professional telephony features

The device supports voice codecs such as G.722, G.711, G.729A/B and Opus, offering compatibility with various VoIP systems and wideband audio communications. Advanced echo cancellation and dynamic jitter buffering help to maintain good call quality.

Each port supports 3-party voice conferencing. Call transfer and call forwarding, call waiting, Do Not Disturb mode and caller ID are also available. Support for T.38 fax enables the transmission of documents over IP networks.

Advanced security for IP communications

The HT812 V2 incorporates AES encryption with an individual security certificate per device, helping to protect configuration and provisioning operations.

The TLS and SRTP protocols also enable the protection of SIP signalling and audio streams respectively. This combination meets the security requirements of corporate telephony infrastructures.

Automatic provisioning and simplified management

Support for automatic provisioning via TR-069, HTTP, HTTPS and TFTP simplifies the installation and management of multiple devices. Administrators can also use the web interface, SSH and syslog for remote monitoring and maintenance.

Quality of Service (QoS) features, including 802.1Q VLANs, 802.1p prioritisation and traffic management, enable the optimisation of voice communications over the network.

Business Applications and Compatibility

The Grandstream HT812 V2 is suitable for small offices, businesses, commercial enterprises and VoIP service providers wishing to retain their existing analogue telephones whilst utilising a Gigabit network.

It is compatible with SIP-based telephony infrastructures and analogue devices that can be connected via FXS ports. The availability of features depends on the IP PBX or VoIP service used.
