Product description

Grandstream HT802 V2: two analogue lines for VoIP telephony

The Grandstream HT802 V2 is an analogue telephone adapter (ATA) designed to integrate two traditional telephones into a VoIP network. Thanks to its compact size and advanced management features, it enables businesses, small offices and service providers to take advantage of IP telephony whilst retaining their existing analogue equipment.

Two FXS ports for greater flexibility

The HT802 V2 features 2 FXS ports and 1 10/100 Mbps RJ45 Ethernet port, allowing two analogue telephone devices to be connected. It supports 2 SIP profiles, offering greater flexibility in configuring communications compared to single-port adapters.

The compact dimensions of 100 x 100 x 29.5 mm make it easy to install on desks, workstations or in small technical spaces.

Voice quality and comprehensive telephony features

Support for the G.711, G.722, G.723.1, G.729A/B, G.726-32, iLBC and Opus codecs ensures compatibility with various VoIP infrastructures. Advanced echo cancellation and dynamic jitter buffering help to improve call stability.

Features such as call transfer and call forwarding, call waiting, Do Not Disturb mode and 3-way conferencing are available. Support for T.38 fax also enables the transmission of documents over IP networks, using G.711 pass-through mode.

Call security and business continuity

The device incorporates TLS for signalling and SRTP for protecting voice streams, helping to ensure the confidentiality of business communications.

The SIP failover function enables automatic switching to a secondary server in the event of a loss of connection with the primary server, thereby improving service continuity.

Automatic configuration and remote management

The HT802 V2 simplifies deployment and maintenance thanks to automatic provisioning via XML files and the TR-069 protocol. It also supports remote management via a web interface, SSH and syslog.

When used in conjunction with compatible Grandstream UCM IP PBX systems, the Zero Config feature simplifies device configuration, making it particularly useful in corporate installations and environments managed by VoIP service providers.

Professional applications and compatibility

The Grandstream HT802 V2 is suitable for offices, commercial premises, multi-line telephone set-ups and managed VoIP installations. It is a practical solution for connecting two analogue telephones to an IP PBX or a compatible SIP service, avoiding the immediate replacement of existing handsets.

The available features depend on the configuration of the telephone system and the VoIP service used.
