The Entel DX482 DMR Digital Radio is compact, MIL-STD, and has an IP68 rating. The DX482 walkie-talkie delivers outstanding audio, clarity, quality, and volume that need to be compared to other DMR radios to be fully appreciated.
Safety features
Included in the Entel two-way radio is a programmable personal attack button. Once activated, the radio will send an alarm call to other radios as well as sound a local alarm. Also included are a lone worker and man-down alarm, which automatically sends an alarm to other radios if no response is received from the user after a certain period.
Improved battery technology and improve the talk time
The Entel UHF radio is supplied with the latest intelligent Lithium-Ion battery technology as standard. One key advantage of Lithium-Ion battery technology is the way it eliminates the ‘memory effect’, meaning that there is no need to fully discharge your battery before recharging. As a result of this, you are assured of a full charge every time.
Programmable channel monitor button
If you have channel protection enabled on your DX482 Entel, all signals other than your networks will be filtered out. This can be temporarily disabled allowing you to monitor all signals on your channel.
