The logo on the base of the phone is not related to Wi-Fi, is related to the DECT signal and the botton next to it is the one to put the base on pairing mode. If your phone service is being changed to a VoIP service then this phone will work as long as your provider accepts it, you just need to connect the main base to your internet router using one of the network ports.

The answerphone for this is not on the device, it is an internet based answer machine so your messages will be stored with your VOIP provider if you have that service with them.
