The Grandstream GWN7673 is an indoor wireless access point designed to provide a stable, high-capacity connection in offices, retail outlets and educational establishments. Thanks to the Wi-Fi 7 BE5000 standard, it improves network performance when numerous devices are connected.

Its dual-band operation at 2.4 and 5 GHz offers a theoretical aggregate wireless speed of approximately 5 Gbps, suitable for business applications, collaboration tools and connected services.

Connect up to 512 devices simultaneously

The GWN7673 supports up to 512 simultaneous Wi-Fi clients, facilitating network access for employees, visitors and business devices via a single access point.

MU-MIMO 2×2:2 at 2.4 GHz and 3×3:3 at 5 GHz technology enables efficient management of multiple connections. Together with OFDMA, it helps to distribute wireless resources and reduce congestion in high-density environments.

It also incorporates advanced Wi-Fi 7 features, such as Multi-Link Operation (MLO), 4096-QAM, Multi-RU and Preamble Puncturing, designed to improve spectrum utilisation and transmission capacity.

Wireless coverage for large spaces

With a coverage range of up to 175 metres under suitable conditions, this access point enables connectivity to be deployed in medium-sized and large indoor spaces.

It incorporates five internal antennas, distributed across the 2.4 and 5 GHz bands, and utilises technologies such as beamforming to optimise transmission to connected devices.

Actual coverage and performance depend on the building layout, obstacles, interference and the characteristics of client devices.

2.5 Gbps Ethernet port and PoE power supply

The GWN7673 features a 2.5 GbE RJ45 port to connect the access point to the network infrastructure and make better use of the available wireless capacity.

Support for IEEE 802.3at/af PoE allows power to be supplied via the Ethernet cable, reducing the need to install a power socket next to the device.

Its maximum power consumption of 16 W simplifies power planning in installations with compatible PoE switches or injectors.

Advanced security and separate networks

The device allows you to configure up to 32 SSIDs, with a maximum of 16 per band, to organise separate networks according to user profiles or the needs of each department.

It supports WPA2 and WPA3, 802.1X authentication and VLAN segmentation, making it easy to separate corporate traffic from guest access.

It also supports up to 1,000 pre-shared secret keys (PPSK), allowing individualised credentials to be assigned without the need to share a common password amongst all users.

The captive portal offers various authentication options, including passwords, vouchers, RADIUS and compatible identity services.

Mobility and wireless network expansion

The GWN7673 incorporates 802.11k, 802.11v and 802.11r roaming features, which help maintain user connectivity as they move between compatible access points.

Support for mesh networks allows coverage to be extended using other compatible devices from the GWN range. It also supports wireless bridge, extender and Hotspot 2.0 functions.

The radio management and dynamic channel allocation tools facilitate the optimisation of networks with multiple access points.

Centralised management from any location

The GWN7673 allows you to manage the network via its local web interface, which incorporates a controller capable of managing up to 50 GWN access points in a single installation.

For distributed deployments, GDMS Networking provides cloud-based management, monitoring, alerts and device statistics from a centralised platform.

It is also compatible with GWN Manager, a local software-based management solution capable of managing up to 3,000 GWN access points.

These options allow you to monitor the wireless infrastructure and simplify configuration and maintenance tasks.

Flexible installation on ceilings and walls

Its circular and compact design facilitates integration into professional environments. The device supports ceiling, wall or compatible junction box mounting, adapting to different installation configurations.

The included mounting accessories allow the device to be prepared for permanent indoor installation.

With a diameter of 220 mm and a height of 48.5 mm, it offers a discreet design for workspaces, corridors and communal areas.
