Gigaset P150 IP PRO – Professional IP telephony in a compact design

The Gigaset P150 IP PRO is an IP desk phone designed to effectively equip professional workstations. It combines 2 SIP accounts, a 2.8-inch TFT display, HD audio and Gigabit connectivity with PoE in a compact design suitable for individual offices and business deployments.

Two SIP accounts for day-to-day communications

The telephone supports 2 SIP identities or accounts and up to 2 simultaneous calls. It offers essential business telephony features, including call forwarding, call hold, call transfer with or without an announcement, redial and automatic answer.

Conference calls with up to 3 participants are also available. Depending on the functions supported by the PBX, the handset can handle call parking and recall, BLF monitoring, call interception and on-hold music.

HD audio for clearer conversations

The P150 IP PRO features a hands-free function with HD audio quality. Full-duplex acoustic local echo cancellation helps to ensure clear conversations, whilst the comfort noise generator and voice activity detection round off the audio processing.

Supported codecs include G.711, wideband G.722, G.726, G.729 and GSM 6.10. The handset is also compatible with hearing aids.

2.8-inch display and direct access to functions

The 2.8-inch TFT display with a resolution of 320 × 240 pixels shows the interface in greyscale. Smart Labels make it easy to identify the functions assigned to the two programmable keys to the right of the screen.

The telephone has a total of 36 physical keys. These include four context-sensitive keys, eight dedicated function keys, five audio controls and a five-way navigation key for quick access to common functions.

Two programmable keys with multi-coloured LEDs

The two SmartLabel function keys can be configured to suit the user’s needs. They can be used, for example, for speed dialling, direct dialling or managing an extension.

Their multi-coloured LEDs provide an additional visual cue, whilst the on-screen Smart Labels eliminate the need for physical labels to identify shortcuts.

Dual Gigabit Ethernet ports and PoE power supply

The P150 IP PRO features two RJ45 Gigabit Ethernet ports, making it easy to integrate into the workplace network. Support for Power over Ethernet allows the telephone to be powered directly via the network using a compatible PoE infrastructure.

A Gigaset 5 V DC mains power supply can also be used, but this is listed by the manufacturer as an optional accessory and is not included in the standard scope of delivery.

Administration and deployment tailored to IP infrastructures

To facilitate business installations, the telephone supports automatic provisioning of configuration and firmware via HTTP, HTTPS or TFTP. It is also compatible with DHCP options 66/67, Plug & Play, GRAPE for redirection, and remote administration via TR-069.

Configuration can be carried out via the telephone’s interface or via a password-protected web interface. The network supports IPv4 and IPv6, IEEE 802.1Q VLANs, OpenVPN, 802.1X and several communication security mechanisms.

Local address book and access to corporate directories

The local address book can hold up to 1,000 contacts. LDAP support also allows access to a server-hosted directory, making it easier to use the handset within a centralised telephone infrastructure.

Call logs allow you to view dialled, received, missed, rejected and forwarded calls, making it easier to find recent communications.

For offices, individual workstations and IP PBX platforms

With its compact design, two SIP accounts, dual Gigabit ports and PoE power supply, the Gigaset P150 IP PRO is suitable for individual workstations, administrative offices and corporate IP telephony deployments. It is advertised as being interoperable with the leading IP PBX platforms on the market. An RJ9 socket allows you to connect a compatible headset (sold separately), and the integrated stand offers two tilt angles. The phone can also be wall-mounted.
