The BT Decor 2200 Corded Telephone is a stylish, easy to use phone for any home or small office. It is cost-effective yet still packed with all the features a small office would need from a desk phone.
The Decor 2200 features a 50 name and number phonebook and 30 name and number caller ID memory displayed via the 3-line display. It also had last number redial which is accessible via a button on the face of the phone.
This phone has some advanced telephony features, such as PBX compatibility with an access code, hearing aid support and 3 ringtones, as well as all the standard telephony features, including a secrecy feature, redial, call indicator LED and ringer volume buttons. The Decor 2200 is battery powered and comes with 4 x AA batteries.

Yes, the phone does indicate on the screen when the batteries are low.
It does not. The only desktop model from BT that had an answering machine was the Paragon 650 but has been discontinued for a while. Some cordless models from BT are still available and most have an answering machine.
It will depend, if your phone/service provider uses a router that has an analogue port to connect analogue phones then yes, it will work. If they dont use this type of router then probably you need to switch to an IP phone. This is something that you need to ask to your provider.
It will depend on your service provider. Some are providing routers that have an analogue port in the back, some are providing adaptor boxes that convert a network (RJ45) line into analogue.
