The BenQ MX808STH is a professional short-throw projector designed for teaching and business presentations. It combines 3,600 ANSI lumens, DLP technology and native XGA resolution to display text, graphics and multimedia content on large surfaces.
The short-throw lens allows the projector to be used in environments where the distance between the device and the screen is limited, making it suitable for classrooms, training rooms and meeting spaces.
The brightness of 3,600 ANSI lumens allows presentations to be delivered even in environments that are not completely darkened. DLP technology offers image reproduction suitable for displaying educational and professional content.
The projector features a native XGA resolution of 1,024 x 768 pixels, a 4:3 aspect ratio and a stated contrast ratio of 20,000:1. It also supports video signals up to 1080p, whilst maintaining the native XGA resolution during projection.
The short-throw configuration allows for large images without having to position the projector at a great distance from the projection surface. The supported diagonal range is from 60 to 120 inches.
The ±30° vertical keystone correction helps to adjust the image geometry when the device is not perfectly aligned with the screen. The stated offset ratio is 115 per cent.
The BenQ MX808STH features 2 HDMI inputs and 2 VGA ports, allowing you to connect various sources used in educational and professional settings. USB interfaces, a PC audio input and an audio output are also available.
The RS-232 port enables integration into set-ups that require serial control of the projector. However, there is no Ethernet/LAN port.
The built-in 10 W speaker allows audio to be played during lessons, presentations and multimedia content without necessarily requiring a separate audio system.
The stated noise level is 34 dB in normal mode and drops to 29 dB in economy mode. Typical power consumption is 260 W, with 0.5 W in standby.
The BenQ MX808STH is suitable for classrooms, training centres, meeting rooms and presentation venues. It supports HDMI and VGA sources, with video signals compatible up to 1080p.
The native 4:3 XGA aspect ratio is particularly well-suited to installations using screens and content with traditional aspect ratios. For Full HD presentations, the projector accepts the signal but adapts it to its native resolution.
