Fast checkout with omnidirectional scanning
The Zebra DS9308 is a 1D and 2D presentation scanner designed for POS terminals where scanning speed and a compact footprint are essential. The Standard Range configuration enables codes to be scanned quickly during day-to-day sales transactions.
The 1280 x 800-pixel sensor enables the reading of 1D and 2D codes, including those displayed on digital devices. Omnidirectional scanning reduces the need to precisely align the code in front of the scanner.
Hands-free and manual use
The compact design allows the scanner to be used directly on the counter in hands-free mode. When a specific code needs to be selected, the device can be held and used manually, offering greater flexibility at the workstation.
The LED aiming point makes it easier to position the barcode, whilst the audible beep and LED indicator provide immediate feedback on a successful scan.
Compact and durable for everyday use
Measuring approximately 14.5 x 8.6 x 8.3 cm and weighing 318 g, the Zebra DS9308 integrates easily even on counters with limited space. Its IP52 rating and resistance to drops from 1.5 m onto concrete make it suitable for continuous professional use.
The kit is supplied in the Midnight Black version with a USB connection. The included shielded USB cable allows for a wired connection to the host system and powers the scanner via the compatible USB connection.
