The TP-Link VIGI C450 (2.8 mm) is a high-performance turret network camera for professional surveillance applications. With 5-megapixel Ultra HD resolution, a bright 2.8 mm lens, and an ultra-sensitive image sensor, the camera delivers sharp, detailed images even in challenging lighting conditions.

Intelligent Features

Thanks to Full-Colour technology, the camera captures colour footage 24/7 – even in complete darkness using active white light and IR illumination. Intelligent classification reliably detects people and vehicles, reducing false alarms and improving monitoring efficiency. With Smart Detection, predefined events such as line crossing or intrusion into specific zones can be automatically reported – ideal for access control, perimeter protection, and car park monitoring. In the event of unauthorised access, the camera’s Active Defence feature uses speakers and lights as immediate deterrents.

Two-way audio allows communication via the built-in microphone and speaker – useful for access verification or remote announcements. The integrated H.265+ codec significantly reduces network and storage usage, lowering long-term operating costs for video management.

The C450 is PoE-compatible or can be powered via 12 V DC – offering installation flexibility. It can be configured and managed through the web UI, NVR interface, the VIGI app, or the VIGI Security Manager. A microSD slot supports local storage of up to 256 GB, in addition to NAS solutions or cloud options.
