Functional features

The ME 4 uses a miniature cardioid condenser capsule, which means it primarily picks up noise from the front and suppresses ambient noise from the sides and rear. The frequency response of 50 Hz to 18 kHz ensures a natural, transparent sound image for speech. Even louder environments up to 120 dB SPL are processed cleanly and without distortion. The microphone is specially optimised for speech and vocal applications.

Compatibility and connection

The ME 4 is designed for wired operation with 3.5 mm locking mini-jack. Ideal in combination with wireless bodypack transmitters from the Sennheiser Evolution Wireless SK / EW / XSW series or with recording and audio devices that provide 10 V plug-in power. This offers maximum flexibility for studio, broadcast and live settings.
