Logitech MX Ink: precise and natural control in mixed reality
Logitech MX Ink is a mixed reality pen designed for Meta Quest that allows you to create, annotate, navigate and manipulate content in both 2D and 3D spaces. Its design, similar to a conventional pen, facilitates precise and intuitive interaction in compatible applications.
Precision for writing, drawing and creating
The pressure-sensitive tip allows for natural control over writing and drawing actions. It also features a pressure-sensitive analogue input for interacting and creating directly in space.
6DoF spatial tracking and haptic feedback
The high-precision 6DoF tracking system detects the stylus’s movements in space. Haptic feedback and physical controls complement the interaction to facilitate tasks such as creating, selecting and manipulating objects in mixed reality.
Configurable controls via Meta Settings
Integration with Meta Settings allows you to customise button mappings, pressure curves and trigger forces. You can also configure the device for right- or left-handed use.
Switch between MX Ink and Meta Touch controllers
MX Ink allows you to switch between the pen and Meta Touch controllers whilst in use. This allows you to choose the most suitable interaction system for drawing, writing, navigating or manipulating content without being limited to a single type of controller.
Up to 7 hours’ battery life
The battery provides up to 7 hours’ battery life in a typical workflow, although Logitech states approximately 3 hours when haptic effects are used. Actual battery life depends on the headset and the applications used.
Charging can be carried out via the USB-C port or using the Pogo pins with the Logitech MX Inkwell charging dock, available separately. The USB-C cable is also not included.
For Meta Quest and mixed reality applications
Logitech MX Ink is compatible with Meta Quest 3S, Meta Quest 3 and Meta Quest 2 running Meta Quest OS V69 or later. Pairing is carried out via the Meta Quest app, and an MX Ink can be used alongside Meta Touch controllers.
