Insta360 Mic Pro 1 TX + 1 RX – Compact wireless audio system for a single speaker

The Insta360 Mic Pro 1 TX + 1 RX combines a transmitter and a receiver in a setup designed for individual audio recording. It is suitable for interviews, presentations, reports, live streams and video productions requiring a compact audio solution that can be used with a variety of equipment.

32-bit floating-point internal recording to safeguard your recordings

The transmitter features 32 GB of onboard memory and can function as a standalone recorder. This allows you to keep a local copy of your audio, which is particularly useful in the event of interference with the wireless link or recording issues on the camera side.

Internal recording is available in 24-bit or 32-bit floating-point formats. In mono, the recording capacity is approximately 60 hours in 24-bit and 44.8 hours in 32-bit floating-point. The latter format offers greater headroom for recovering significant level variations in post-production.

Three microphones and four recording modes

The built-in array of three microphones allows the polar pattern to be adapted to the situation. The available modes are omnidirectional, super-directional, cardioid and figure-8.

This flexibility allows you to prioritise the ambient sound, focus the recording more on the voice, or work with sources positioned on either side of the microphone, depending on the recording scenario.

AI noise reduction and automatic level management

Artificial intelligence noise reduction helps to isolate the voice when unwanted sounds are present. The system offers two levels of reduction to adapt the processing to the environment.

Automatic gain control provides additional protection against volume fluctuations. The available modes allow you either to automatically limit clipping or to dynamically balance the level to maintain a more consistent voice.

Customisable E-Ink display to identify your microphone

The transmitter features a 1.22-inch colour E-Ink display. It can display customised images, logos or graphics transferred from the Insta360 app.

This customisation allows you to quickly identify the microphone whilst adding an extra visual dimension during shoots, interviews or brand productions.

Receiver with touchscreen and direct control of settings

The receiver features an OLED touchscreen allowing you to view information such as battery level or connection status. Settings can be adjusted via the screen or using the control dial.

The receiver also supports timecode input and output, a useful feature for simplifying synchronisation with compatible recording equipment and workflows involving multiple video sources.

Up to 400 m range in open terrain

Wireless transmission can reach 400 metres when the transmitter communicates with the receiver in an open, unobstructed environment free from interference. This range facilitates shots where the subject needs to move away from the camera.

The system operates on the 2.4 GHz band and supports Bluetooth 5.4. The actual range depends on obstacles, interference and the configuration used.

Battery life suited to full days of production

The transmitter offers up to 10 hours of use under Insta360’s defined test conditions, whilst the receiver can last up to 11 hours. This 1 TX + 1 RX version is supplied without a charging case.

The transmitter and receiver support fast charging. Under the manufacturer’s test conditions, five minutes of charging can provide up to 1.5 hours of use, and a full charge takes approximately one hour.

For solo interviews, live streaming and video production

The Insta360 Mic Pro 1 TX + 1 RX kit is suitable for interviews with a single guest, news reports, presentations, live streams and content production. The receiver can be connected to a camera via the supplied 3.5 mm audio cable, to a smartphone using the USB-C adapter, or to a PC or Mac. The transmitter can also communicate directly with certain compatible Insta360 cameras; the features available vary depending on the device and connection method.
