The Hikvision iDS-UVC-P38 is a professional 4K PTZ camera designed for video conferencing, business presentations and professional audiovisual installations. The camera supports 4K video at up to 30 fps via USB in MJPG or H.264 format, alongside Full HD video at up to 60 fps. Image settings including exposure, white balance, contrast, sharpness, saturation, gamma and mirroring can be adjusted to suit different environments.

The Hikvision iDS-UVC-P38 includes intelligent human body tracking and sound source localisation, helping the camera follow participants and identify the direction of speech during meetings and presentations.

The camera also supports five customisable scene presets via the supplied remote control, enabling users to switch between preferred camera views without manually adjusting the PTZ position each time.

The camera also includes a Gigabit Ethernet port and supports H.264, H.265 and MJPEG network video compression, together with RTSP and ONVIF connectivity for integration into compatible network-based video systems.

PoE Installation and Professional PTZ Control

Support for IEEE 802.3at PoE, Class 4 allows the camera to receive power through a compatible Ethernet connection, helping simplify installation and reduce the need for separate power cabling.

For local operation, the supplied 2.4 GHz wireless remote control provides a communication range of up to 10 metres. This enables users to adjust camera positioning and settings directly from the meeting room.

The camera also features RS-232 and RS-485 control interfaces for integration with compatible professional camera controllers. RS-232 supports the VISCA protocol, while RS-485 supports HIKVISION, PELCO-D and PELCO-P protocols. Both interfaces support PTZ movement, zoom control and up to 255 presets.
