Datalogic QuickScan I QM2131 - Wireless 1D scanning for professional operations
The Datalogic QuickScan I QM2131 is a wireless 1D barcode scanner designed to streamline data capture tasks in retail outlets, warehouses and service environments. Its scanning system achieves up to 400 scans per second and offers a wide, clearly visible scan line.
Wireless connection up to 25 metres
The Datalogic STAR 2.0 Cordless System operates on the 433 MHz band and provides a range of up to 25 m in open space. By utilising narrowband radio communication independent of the Wi-Fi network, it facilitates mobile working at points of sale, goods reception areas and during stock-taking.
Efficient scanning of 1D and long barcodes
Its linear imager technology offers an extended depth of field and a scan angle of 56° ± 2°. These features facilitate the capture of linear barcodes, including long barcodes used in documentation, parcel delivery and other professional applications.
The scanner automatically recognises the main standard 1D codes, including GS1 DataBar codes, and supports certain stacked and composite codes. Its maximum resolution reaches 0.102 mm / 4 mils.
Scan confirmation with Datalogic Green Spot
The patented Datalogic Green Spot technology provides visual confirmation of a successful scan directly on the code. This is complemented by an audible signal, an LED and transmission confirmation, allowing the user to quickly check the result of each scan.
Replaceable battery for intensive working days
The replaceable 1400 mAh lithium-ion battery allows for over 30,000 scans on a single charge. The manufacturer’s stated charging time is approximately 4 hours using an external 12 V DC power supply.
The design allows the battery and its charging contacts to be replaced together. As well as using the base station, the reader features a connection for charging via USB/microUSB, providing flexibility in installation.
Designed for professional environments
The QuickScan I QM2131 features IP42 protection and withstands repeated drops from a height of 1.5 m onto concrete. It can operate between 0 and 50 °C and is rated for ambient light levels of up to 120,000 lux.
