Datalogic QuickScan QBT2500 - Wireless scanning of 1D and 2D codes
The Datalogic QuickScan QBT2500 is a wireless 1D and 2D barcode scanner designed for professional operations requiring speed, mobility and ease of use. Its imaging technology enables it to capture a wide variety of symbologies and work with codes that are either printed or displayed on screens.
1D and 2D scanning for various applications
The QuickScan 2500 can scan 1D, 2D, postal, composite and stacked codes. Compatible symbologies include QR Code, Micro QR, Data Matrix, Aztec, MaxiCode, PDF417 and GS1 DataBar, amongst others.
Omnidirectional scanning reduces the need to position the code in a specific orientation in front of the scanner. This facilitates repetitive operations at point-of-sale tills and other data capture stations.
Ready for on-screen codes
The scanner is designed to work with both printed codes and codes displayed on mobile devices. It is particularly useful for operations involving digital loyalty cards, electronic vouchers and tickets stored on smartphones.
Visual confirmation with Datalogic Green Spot
Datalogic’s Green Spot technology provides visual confirmation of the code when a scan is successfully completed. This is complemented by an LED indicator and a configurable beeper to provide immediate feedback to the operator.
Comfortable scanning during repetitive tasks
The soft red lighting helps maintain a comfortable scanning experience during shifts involving numerous transactions. The QuickScan 2500 family also incorporates Datalogic’s Motionix technology, designed to facilitate transitions between compatible scanning modes.
Protection for day-to-day use
The QuickScan 2500 features IP52 protection against dust and water. The range is designed to withstand repeated drops from a height of 1.5 m onto concrete and offers ESD protection of up to 16 kV for air discharge.
It can be used at temperatures between 0 and 50 °C and withstands ambient light levels of up to 110,000 lux, making it suitable for a range of commercial and professional environments.
