Datalogic QuickScan I QBT2131 - Wireless 1D scanning via Bluetooth
The Datalogic QuickScan I QBT2131 is a wireless 1D barcode scanner designed to provide mobility and speed in data capture operations. Its linear imager system offers a speed of up to 400 scans per second and a wide, clearly visible scan line.
Bluetooth connectivity for greater freedom of movement
The QBT2131 features Bluetooth 3.0 Class 2 and operates on the 2.4 GHz band. It can communicate with its base station or directly with Bluetooth-compatible devices.
It supports the HID and SPP profiles, facilitating integration with computers, terminals and certain mobile devices. The manufacturer states compatibility with iOS and Android devices via Bluetooth HID.
Wireless range of up to 25 metres
When used with the base station, the scanner offers a radio range of up to 25 m in open space. This allows for greater flexibility when working at points of sale, goods reception areas, warehouses and during stock-taking.
Efficient 1D code reading
The QuickScan I QBT2131 is optimised for reading 1D linear codes, including GS1 DataBar codes and certain stacked and composite codes. Its 56° ± 2° scan angle and extended depth of field help to capture long codes more easily.
The maximum resolution is 0.102 mm / 4 mils, whilst the reading distance can reach up to 70 cm with 20-mil codes, depending on print quality and ambient light conditions.
Scan confirmation with Green Spot
Datalogic Green Spot technology projects a visual confirmation when a scan is successful. The device also features an audible beep, a ‘scan successful’ LED and transmission confirmation.
Replaceable battery for intensive use
The 1,400 mAh lithium-ion battery provides over 30,000 scans per charge. The indicated charging time is approximately 4 hours using an external 12 V DC power supply.
The battery can be replaced and the design allows the charging contacts to be replaced simultaneously, facilitating the maintenance of the scanner throughout its service life.
Protection for professional environments
The device features IP42 protection and withstands repeated drops from a height of 1.5 m onto concrete. Its operating range is 0 to 50 °C and it can handle ambient lighting of up to 120,000 lux.
