A bit on the expensive side but, together with the Motorola CPS (Customer Programming Software), allows acces to many of the features of the XT420 and XT460 radios that are not available via the radio buttons alone, including speech-synthesised promts, your very own customised voice prompts and display messages (XT460). It does not provide the facility to increase the power of the radios or 'open up' the upper 8 channels (9 to 16) to different frequencies, these still share the same frequencies as channels 1 to 8 but with different PL/DPL codes. I believe this cable works for the CLK, CLP, XT and XTNi range of radios, but have only used in on my XT460's to very good effect.
