The OM System LS-P5 is a portable high-resolution audio recorder designed to capture speech, music and ambient sound with precision. Its TRESMIC II three-microphone system and recording quality of up to 96 kHz/24 bit make it suitable for interviews, video production, meetings, journalism and music recording.

Precise sound capture with TRESMIC II

The TRESMIC II system combines three directional microphones to provide flexible sound capture in different environments. Its 21-level microphone zoom lets you adjust directionality according to the sound source and recording situation.

With support for sound pressure levels of up to 125 dB SPL, the recorder can handle both speech and louder sound sources while maintaining clear audio capture.

High-resolution audio for professional workflows

Linear PCM recording at up to 96 kHz/24 bit helps preserve fine audio detail for demanding recording applications. WAV, FLAC and MP3 support provides flexibility when storing, editing or sharing recordings.

Additional recording functions include Low-Cut Filter, pre-recording, manual recording level adjustment, audio monitoring, normalisation and selectable recording scenes.

Built-in Bluetooth connectivity enables remote operation from a compatible smartphone. The recorder can also work with compatible Bluetooth headphones for wireless audio monitoring, helping reduce cabling during mobile recording sessions.

16 GB internal memory with microSD expansion

The 16 GB internal memory provides built-in storage for immediate recording. For longer sessions and larger audio libraries, storage can be expanded using compatible microSD cards with capacities of up to 2 TB.

Recording autonomy can reach approximately 37 hours, making the LS-P5 suitable for interviews, events and other extended recording sessions.
