Would the 1800mAh battery of this radio fit a Mitex 'General' radio which uses a 1300 mAh battery?

According to the official Mitex website, 'the Mitex HD (1800mAh) Lithium-ion Battery Pack is compatible with the Mitex HD two way radio only.' Therefore it is not compatible with the Mitex General.
