Looking for a simple no none sense radio for use in our tented camps for guest communication. Maximum range tent to tent 1km. Canvas tent walls. Will these radios be acceptable? Is there an option for a multiple radio charging solution like a desk top?
These radios are good for around 800 metres average, this coverage can be less or more depending on the location they are being used. If they are used in an open area such as a camping place then yes, they should do the job.
