The following requirements are needed for the correct use of this device:
Version 9.1 or higher of Cisco Unified Communications manager
Cisco Wireless LAN controller (WLC) version 8.0121.0 or later
Additional information
Due to the differences in wireless network requirements between the 792x and 8821 cordless phones, a separate SSID may be required.
This is a new product from Cisco replacing the 792x and 8821 phones. You can configure this device through the Cisco Unified Communications Manager settings, manually through the administration tools or using third-party migration tools.
