Connectivity
Support for NFC connectivity, along with the two available USB-C connectors, allows you to use this ALE-500 without a handset according to your communication preferences: hands-free mode or with a wired or wireless headset. It is sold without a handset but this model supports the addition of one if needed, as its versatility allows you to add either a wired or wireless telephone module. Powered by a Class 2 PoE Ethernet cable, this phone supports VPN, a security system that provides secure communications- a feature that is especially popular with home workers.

The new Alcatel-Lucent ALE-500 is a true all-in-one phone that includes all the audio-visual components necessary for optimal communication. The big brother of the ALE-300 and ALE-400, the ALE-500 features a large 5.5" colour LCD touch screen, a 720 x 1280 pixel resolution display and a 12-key numeric keypad fully integrated directly into the IP phone's touch screen. Use the 10 context-sensitive keys and 5 programmable buttons to intelligently manage your calls and audio settings with direct access to your favourite or recurring actions.
