The essential hybrid desk phone for excellent communications
As part of the new Essential series, this Alcatel-Lucent ALE-20H hybrid phone supports both digital and IP telephony and is PoE powered via the RJ45 socket available in IP mode and digital mode is powered via the PoDL line. It integrates an Rj-45 IP and digital port with auto-sensing mode. It is versatile and can be adapted to different workspace configurations with the included wall mounting kit, while the height-adjustable desk stand allows you to adjust the phone's position to suit your preference. Tilt the screen more or less for better visibility.

What is PoDL and what is PoE?
The former simply stands for Power over Digital Line, i.e. power over the digital line. And Power over Ethernet (PoE) is a technology for Ethernet LAN (local area network) cable that allows the electrical current required for the operation of each device to be carried by the data cables instead of the power cables.

The phone can be used to talk via the traditional handheld handset, hands-free or with a headset (headset) thanks to the USB-C, USB-A and RJ9 sockets provided for this purpose. This gives you more productivity, as you can carry out other tasks while communicating. This phone ensures full-duplex handsfree communications with crystal-clear transmission, because acoustic echo is suppressed so that only each person's voice is transmitted.
