Wireless and USB connection

The VZ-X wireless document camera (HDMI & 8MP USB) has three modes of connection - Wi-Fi, HDMI and USB - you can capture and send images in real-time to your computer, iOS/Android devices, Apple TV, TV, projector or monitor, however best suits your needs. Connect from anywhere in the room: wirelessly connect VZ-X to your computer (Mac/PC/Chromebook), iOS/Android devices (iPad/iPhone/Android platform/Android phone), or Apple TV (4th generation and above) using Wi-Fi and enjoy the freedom of sending images in real-time from anywhere, without cables getting in the way! And with a battery life which will last between 9 and 12 hours, the VZ-X will not let you down during your teaching sessions or presentations.

Use the VZ-X with a computer (Mac/PC/Chromebook) via USB to make the most of its compatibility with a wide range of different software. You can use IPEVO Viewer software, which has an intuitive user interface and borderless screen window to present students’ work, or create flipped classroom videos using software like Seesaw, Camtasia or OBS. In addition, it can even double as a webcam for online meetings, video conferences and distance learning when used with video conferencing software, such as Zoom, GoToMeeting, Skype or Google Hangouts.

Its swivelling head and multi-jointed stand allows you to shoot from different heights, angles and orientations. It has buttons for making image adjustments and for easy access to software features. Instantly adjust images in real-time to best suit your needs, using buttons which are conveniently located on the body of the VZ-X. You can turn on the LED light, apply video filters, rotate, zoom, adjust the exposure or refocus. In addition, the action button located at the base of VZ-X allows quick access to its Viewer functions, such as snapshot, video recording, document scanning and more. You will no longer need a computer as you will be able to send images in real-time directly to your TV, projector or monitor using HDMI. This will help to reduce clutter and make projection on a large screen easier. Fast focus, minimal noise and excellent colour reproduction. With a Sony CMOS image sensor and a powerful integrated Ambarella system on chips (SoC), you can enjoy improved performance in terms of focus speed, reduced noise in areas of low lighting and better colour reproduction compared to previous models of IPEVO document cameras. This allows you to teach and present with minimal interruptions, distortions and latency, even in low light.
