The 3M™ PELTOR™ WS™ ALERT™ X earmuffs feature Bluetooth® with noise-cancelling boom microphone and connect to your mobile phone for hands-free calling and streaming in noisy environments. Once you've paired the headset with your phone, you can stream your favourite music and take phone calls. You can also answer calls by voice alone. In addition, it can be configured via an iOs and Android compatible mobile app that allows you to receive notifications about settings and reminders about when to change the replacement cushioning. The app is available for download from the App Store and Google Play.
Sound modulation allows you to hear low-frequency sounds such as people's voices, machinery sounds and possible alarms while blocking high-frequency sounds encountered in industrial environments. The Peltor WS ALERT X reduces the risk of damage to your hearing, as hearing protectors must be worn 100% of the time in noisy environments to avoid the risk of hearing damage, so this headset is designed to be easy to wear so you don't need to remove the headset to take calls or talk to colleagues. Essential when workers need to be connected to their mobile phone throughout the day (e.g. maintenance workers in construction industries, private contractors operating their own equipment, farmers, maintenance personnel in industrial applications, etc.); in all these situations, hands-free communication and hearing protection are beneficial.

Reduce battery consumption

This 3 MPeltor device automatically switches off after four hours of non-use to reduce battery consumption. It has a battery life of up to approximately 78 hours (with Bluetooth transmission and level dependence). The battery type used is 2 AA alkaline batteries (or NiMH rechargeable).
