The Midland G18 Pro is a very reliable and easy-to-use professional radio. It operates in the PMR446 band, is free to use without the need for a licence and guarantees clear communications even in very noisy environments. It guarantees extended use of up to 19 hours thanks to the 1600 mAh lithium-ion battery and includes a smart quick charger.

Rugged and compact

Compact, yet extremely rugged, it is made with an aluminium casing. It complies with the IP67 standard, which guarantees maximum protection against dust and water (up to 1-metre depth for 30 minutes).

Midland G18 Pro can be configured to optimise its performance and adapt to the needs of any type of use. You can increase or decrease its functions (CTCSS, DCS, TOT, Vox, Roger Beep, Squelch, Voice, Emergency).

It incorporates features such as voice tuning that informs by the voice of the selected channel and SCAN and VOX functions for hands-free communications.

How long does it last?

It is also notable for its highly efficient 1600 mAh lithium battery, which guarantees 19 hours of battery life. It incorporates a total of 99 PMR446 channels: 16 + 83 freely configurable pre-programmed channels, which can be combined with the 50 CTCSS tones and 105 DCS codes available. Compatible with Motorola 2-pin hands-free kits.

Range depends on environmental conditions

The range of this walkie-talkie is dependent on ground conditions. Midland suggests that coverage in the city, with buildings or other obstacles, is 1 to 2 km. In an open space, but with obstacles, such as trees or houses, the maximum possible range is 4-6 km. In an open space without obstacles, such as in the mountains, coverage can be 12 km.
