There are pre-recorded outgoing messages or you can record your own. There are two modes, one that allows callers to leave a message and one that answers the call but does not allow them to leave a message.  You can access your answer machine from the handset, the base or from any Touchtone phone. When handset call screening is turned on, you can listen to the caller leaving a message and even decide to interrupt and enter the call.Large contact directoryYou are able to store up to 200 entries in your contact directory, which you can easily access by pressing the contact function key.
