With a well thought out design, the Siemens Optipoint 500 offers fast and easy access to the features of the Hipath TM / ICOM systems.
The Optipoint digital 500 series telephones are exclusively intended for compatible Siemens HiPath / ICOM PABX systems. They may need a previous configuration of your PABX.
Feature keys
Includes 3 dialogue keys of the operating system, which together with the indications on the screen allow an interactive orientation of the user. In addition, the illumination of the keys allows to visualize the functions that are activated. The different operating functions are clearly divided into submenus, being possible to read them on the display. According to the models, the selection of the different services can be made directly through the service key, by entering the code.
Important functions can be stored individually in a function key.
Integrated USB 1.1 interface
These phones can be connected to a computer through the integrated USB 1.1 interface. By contracting the services of the TAPI CallBridge TU provider, it is possible to establish telephone connections and use applications from the computer.
Adapters
With a new system of adapters, offered as an accessory to the phone, you can give a quick response to the needs of any job. Thanks to the easy installation of the different adapters in the lower part of the telephone, it is possible to directly connect different devices (eg, fax, telephones, telephone helmets).
Adaptor optiPoint acoustic
Allows the connection of the following telephone accessories. active speaker, mobile microphone with Y cable, wired telephone headset (RJ9) or wireless headset, with call acceptance and call termination function from the mobile terminal, busy indicator / door opener, additional buzzer / visual indication with autonomous power through potential free contact. The Optipoint Advance model integrates the standard acoustic adaptor.
